Frequently Asked Questions

How many CWL medals do you get in Champion League?

In Champion III, first place earns 360 base medals. Each placement lower reduces base medals by 12. With 7 war wins, your clan receives 4 base bonuses + 7 = 11 total bonus packages worth 95 medals each. A player with 8 stars earns 100% of the placement reward (360 medals) plus their bonus share if granted.

When should I rotate players in CWL?

Rotate a player out when they reach 8 stars (100% yield cap). Every star beyond 8 earns zero additional medals for that player. Swapping in a bench player with 0 stars adds a fresh 20% minimum yield contributor, maximizing the total medals your clan's roster brings home.

What is the best use of CWL medals?

Hammers of Building (185 medals) and Hammers of Fighting (165 medals) provide the best time value. A Hammer of Building saves up to 19 days of upgrade time at TH18. Research Potions (35 medals) are also excellent value for lab progress.

What is the CWL medal floor?

Every CWL participant receives a minimum 20% of their clan's placement reward regardless of stars earned. This is the Zero-Star Baseline Protection. In Champion III first place, even a 0-star player receives 72 medals. This prevents players from earning nothing if they were on the roster but could not execute attacks.

How is the Star Yield calculated?

The yield percentage follows this formula: min(100%, 20% + Stars * 10%). A player with 0 stars gets 20% yield, 3 stars gets 50%, and 8+ stars gets the full 100% yield.

How CWL Medal Calculation Works

Clan War League (CWL) is a monthly 7-day tournament where clans compete in groups of 8. Your clan's final placement determines the base medals. Your individual payout is calculated using: Final Medals = Base Medals × Star Yield + Bonus Package (if awarded).

1. Base Medals

Based on your league tier and placement (1st to 8th). In Master II, 1st place awards 346 medals. 8th place awards 262.

2. Star Yield

Yield starts at 20% and increases by 10% per star. It caps at 100% when you reach 8 stars. Higher star counts do not increase medals.

3. Bonus Distribution

Bonus packages are distributed by the clan leadership. Each package awards a fixed value. Total packages = Base bonuses + War Wins.
